Scener Guide

Scener is a free or premium service for watching content on many platforms (such as YouTube, Netflix, and Vimeo) in sync with people all around the world. Scener offers hands-free streaming on YouTube and helps increase the views on ATEEZ's videos through participating in streaming parties for ATEEZ.

About Scener

  • Stream on YouTube hands-free: the host controls the watch party & chooses the videos that will play

    • Hands-free streaming means you can leave the party running while you do other activities!

    • Or you can stay and use the chat to have fun and make new ATINY friends

  • Free & Premium accounts welcome! If using free you will have to be aware of ADs that play.

  • Only works on pc / laptop – don’t use your phone!

  • 1 view added per participant (100 participants = 100 views per video)

  • Your internet connection: Move closer to your router or restart it. Switch to a different connection if possible

  • Your version of Google Chrome: Update it if it’s an old version

  • Your Scener extension: It might be outdated, so check for updates or delete it and reinstall

  • Other extensions: Some may be interfering – try pausing all other extensions

Scener Guidelines

  • ALL YOUTUBE DOS/RULES APPLY TO SCENER

  • Make sure you are logged into both YouTube AND Scener accounts when joining a party

  • Wait 30 seconds to skip YouTube ads. Scener ads can be skipped any time

  • Make sure no other tabs are playing YouTube on your device

  • Interact w/the video: Like, comment, and share during the stream. Remember: participants can’t pause or change the video during the party

  • Inform your host if you are experiencing issues with the stream as it could be an error on their side!

  • Wait 15 minutes after a party ends to start manually streaming

  • ALL YOUTUBE DONT’S APPLY TO SCENER

  • Stream on YouTube (or YouTube Music) w/the same device or IP address while using Scener. 1 account per device per IP!

  • Mute the Scener tab or YouTube player. Mute the laptop/desktop instead or plug in headphones

  • Join back to back Scener parties! Wait 2 hours before joining the next Scener party. However, you can still manually stream during this time.

  • Use the Scener mobile app! Only join with a laptop or desktop computer

  • Worry if the video pauses or skips during the party – your stream still counts! Pauses are normal as Scener syncs you to the host
