Digital Purchasing Guide

Digital purchases are a more affordable option that help with sales AND charting! If you can't purchase a physical album, you can buy the digital tracks instead for a fraction of the price. If you are not able to purchase the full album but can pitch in, we recommend buying only the title track.

Purchasing Dos and Don'ts

  • DOWNLOAD YOUR PURCHASE for it to be counted for charts

  • DELETE YOUR DOWNLOAD if you purchase on a platform you stream on. Add songs to your playlist after deleting to stream correctly!

  • FOLLOW @ATEEZRising_ and watch for their iTUNES projects and/or donations. This is for those interested in helping US ATINY purchase the track digitally to help with BB 200 & BB HOT 100

  • PURCHASE ALL TRACKS SEPARATELY if the album has more than 10 tracks

    • 10 track single sales = 1 album

    • Buying the whole album = 1 album

  • PURCHASE TITLE TRACK SEPARATELY and then COMPLETE ALBUM if the album has less than 10 tracks – this is what we'll be doing for Golden Hour: Part. 2!

DO...

DO NOT...

  • USE A VPN to purchase for BB CHARTS. You must be from the region for the digital track purchase to count for US BB CHARTS.

  • GIFT albums through iTunes. GIFTS will NOT count for charts.

  • Purchase the title track or album on multiple platforms using the same details.

    • Every song has a unique IRSC code (a song's version of a UPC), and that code does not change across different digital platforms.

    • Remember that for Billboard physical purchasing, we can only buy in the quantities we do because store exclusive versions have unique UPCs and count as a different product (while still counting toward the overall album sales)

    • Song IRSC codes operate in the same way. Different digital platforms do not have unique IRSC codes, so purchasing Ice on My Teeth on iTunes and then buying it again on Amazon (with the same purchasing details) will be counted as a duplicate purchase, and only the iTunes purchase will count for Billboard.

    • Remixes will have a different IRSC code from the original version of the track, so it is safe to purchase the remix from one digital platform as well.

    • Billboard rules state one copy can be purchased per week, but that statement has been called into doubt. We know that not all rule changes are publicized to try to reduce fans "gaming the system," so we cannot in good conscience recommend purchasing more than ONE copy with the same purchasing details across multiple weeks.

How to Purchase Digitals

Across all platforms: 1 copy per email, IP, and billing address FOR LIFE

  • You cannot buy the title track or album on multiple digital platforms and have all of them count – we can only guarantee that the FIRST PURCHASE will count for Billboard

    • Remixes count as a SEPARATE track and can be bought to help with charting – but they can still only be bought on one platform

  • If attempting to purchase multiple copies, you must input UNIQUE details (email, billing address, etc) and use a unique IP address. If ANY details match, your purchase may not count

    • The easiest way to "purchase multiple copies" and ensure they count is to ask friends to help purchase since their details will be different from yours. You can also sponsor US/PR ATINY who have not bought the track through the #DIGITEEZ project.

  • After buying, make sure to download the track(s) so your purchase is counted

  • When buying from other stores (such as the ATEEZ official digital store), you must download the track when they email you the file

  • Don’t have funds for the full album? Purchase ONLY the TITLE TRACK. If available, purchase any other versions of the title track (potential remixes)
