Pandora Guide
Pandora is a US/PR ONLY streaming service and contributes to US charts, including Billboard charts. It is not a guarantee for debuting on charts like Hot100, especially after executives have confirmed that they know about increased usage of Pandora and guides written by fans to try to increase streams.
Pandora is a tool that can be used to increase streams – just like any other major streaming platform – but it does have the limitation that Pandora streams only count toward US charts (unlike streams from other platforms).
Charting
Streaming & Playlisting
Stream on Pandora if you are able to stream it simultaneously with Spotify or Apple Music
Follow the International Streaming Rules to ensure all your streams will count (no looping!).
Create playlists to share with other Pandora ATINY since it does not work with Stationhead
Upvote the title track on the playlist to push it to the top and to other Pandora listeners.
Share song links on your SNS platforms as charts track shares.
DO...
DO NOT...
Replace Spotify or Apple Music with Pandora. Only add Pandora if you are able to stream it simultaneously!
Use a VPN to stream.
Getting a Premium Account
You can stream on iOS, ANDROID, and PC.
Pandora uses a curated stream model: more streams = more push to other listeners
Pandora has both free and premium subscriptions. A premium subscription is highly recommended since it contributes more to charts.
Different subscription plans are available such as Pandora Plus and Pandora Premium (Premium includes Family, Student and Military discounted plans).
